南韓DAPA採購局:Rotem公司K808 8x8裝甲車輛和K806 6x6裝甲車輛將開始量產

南韓DAPA採購局新型輪型裝甲運兵車輛研發計畫在2012年由Hyundai現代集團Rotem公司進行新型K808 8x8裝甲車輛和新型K806 6x6裝甲車輛已經完成

計畫採購約600輛車自2016年6月開始至2023年生產完成首批車輛將在2017年開始交付,其中K808 8x8裝甲車輛部署前線地區包括山區部隊機動部署和偵察

任務執行,而K806 6x6裝甲車輛則負責後方機動打擊和偵察任務執行,新型裝甲車輛配備430匹柴油引擎,行駛速度可達100公里/時,未來並可搭載30公厘機砲和

South Korea Defense Industry has developed new wheeled armored combat vehicles under the name of K808 and K806, that can greatly enhance the mobility and striking power of its infantry troops. The Defense Acquisition Program Administration’s (DAPA) wheeled armored vehicle project, undertaken by Hyundai Rotem since 2012, has been successfully completed, according a DAPA statement.
