南韓國防部:採購新型飛彈驅逐艦和柴電潛艇計畫

時間: 2019年4月30日.

南韓國防部批准採購新型神盾飛彈驅逐艦,南韓DAPA採購局將採購第2批3艘神盾飛彈驅逐艦,採購金額約36兆韓元(約33億美元),並將命名為Gwanggaeto the Great Ⅲ

廣開土太王Ⅲ級飛彈驅逐艦,其中將配備美國Lockheed Martin公司Aegis系統Block 10版本具備同時追踪和防禦飛彈,飛機和敵艦,並且可攔截彈道飛彈,預計在2028年底

前完成交付作業.

另外還計畫在2028年建造KSS-III型Batch III批次Jangbogo-III級重型攻擊柴電潛艇,將建造3艘新型3,450噸級柴電潛艇並搭載自製彈道飛彈(SLBM),採購金額約34億韓元.

The Republic of Korea (ROK or South Korea) Navy announced it has deployed two of its three KDX-III Aegis destroyers on a mission to detect and track North Korea's planned rocket launch. The communist nation has informed international maritime, aviation and telecommunication agencies that it will launch a rocket to put satellite 'Kwangmyongsong' into orbit, taking a preparatory step to launch a long-range missile.
