俄羅斯Military-Industrial公司開始進行新型Bumerang 8×8裝甲車輛初步測試作業,其中IFV車型配備2A42型30公厘機砲搖控砲塔,7.62公厘PKTM同軸機槍和

9M133 Kornet反裝甲飛彈,APC車型則配備12.7公厘Kord機槍搖控砲塔,未來將取代BTR-80和BTR-82裝甲車輛也計畫外銷給國外客戶.
